Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wellingborough Afternoons only Computing and French

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Wellingborough area to find a HLTA to start with them,

The ideal candidate for this role will work with different year groups assessing the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support and advance pupils learning.

The candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver learning to individuals, small groups and/or classes modifying and adapting activities to advance pupils learning as necessary within agreed systems of supervision;
  • Be aware of and work within school policies and procedures;
  • Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment and use this knowledge and understanding to extend and challenge pupil’s learning;
  • Work collaboratively with staff and other relevant professionals and provide information about pupils as appropriate;
  • Use teaching and learning objectives to plan, evaluate and differentiate lessons/work plans as appropriate within agreed systems of supervision;

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
