Monarch Education are recruiting for a high achieving Food Technology teacher who can demonstrate a clear sense of purpose and high expectations in this highly successful and popular department, this secondary school is located in the South Birmingham area, B27 and are looking for the position to be filled from January 2025.
You should have experience of teaching Food Technology across the ability range for KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire learners to achieve excellent results. What you’ll need to succeed
-Qualified Teacher Status
-Experience of teaching Food Technology through to KS4.
-Previous experience of teaching key stage 3 & 4 students and delivering live experiments.
-Able to establish constructive and positive relationships with your pupil’s.
-Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work with a positive outlook in Education.
-Solid knowledge of the key stage 3 & 4 student curriculum.
Part of the Food Teach role will include:
-Ensuring planning is complete and adapted to the different abilities across the year groups.
-Marking/assessments is done in line with the curriculum.
-Work closely with the department to show clear progression and development across the school.
