Mental Health Youth Worker
Location: Mansfield
Essential: Clean UK Driving Licence
Start date: As soon as possible
Contract: Full time, temporary to permanent or straight permanent
We are currently supporting an SEMH school who are in need of Mental Health Youth Workers to support students aged 7-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
You will need a DBS on the update service for this role (we can also provide one for you).
Responsibilities:
– Using CPOMs to report incidents
– Supporting students with future aspirations and job opportunities
– Supporting students with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities or who experience anxiety and/or depression
– Possible travel involved with the role to surrounding sites
– Working with students on an EHCP
– Monitor and record a students progress and behaviour
– Manage very challenging behaviours
– Work closely with Curriculum Leaders and Site Lead Teachers
