Key Stage 1 Class Teacher

Monarch Education is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a primary school based in Oldbury, commencing January 2025. This welcoming school emphasises core values in everything they do and is now looking for an individual with strong character traits to contribute to the development and learning of their students.

The school works in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the success of all children and is keen to find a teacher who can maintain these relationships, providing students with a high standard of education in the classroom. Ideally, the school is seeking a strong and experienced individual; however, they would also consider experienced Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Salary: £150 – £225 per day

Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning and delivering lessons within the curriculum to a high standard
  • Creating a welcoming classroom environment to ensure pupils feel comfortable and enjoy their learning experience
  • Assessing and recording the progress of each pupil, and providing relevant information on their attainment to parents
  • Modelling positive behaviour management and restorative approaches
  • Providing feedback to pupils and setting clear targets to advance their learning
  • Understanding of TT Rockstars

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of working with Key Stage 1 and 2 classes
