Supply Teacher

Monarch Education are seeking Supply Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to cover short-term teaching assignments across the Bristol area. The role of a supply teacher is to deliver effective teaching and learning, ensuring that students continue to progress in the absence of their regular teacher.

Assignments available:

Daily absence cover

• Full Time and Part Time
• Short Term Sickness Cover
• Long Term Cover such as Maternity Leave

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across various subjects as required

• Ensuring students remain engaged and motivated during lessons, maintaining high standards of behaviour
• Following lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and adapting them as needed
• Supporting students’ learning and development, ensuring they make good progress
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment

The school requires that candidates have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The ideal candidate will have flexibility, a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and teaching environments.
