Monarch Education are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art and Design & Technology Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Perry Barr. This exciting opportunity is to teach both Art and DT across Key Stage 3 and 4, fostering a passion for creativity while developing essential skills to ensure students’ academic and personal growth. This is a full time position with an immediate start !

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Art and Design & Technology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning and encouraging their creative development.
  • Develop student’s practical and theoretical skills, equipping them with the necessary tools to progress in their studies.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of all students, promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of the curriculum within the department, ensuring it is innovative and challenging.
  • Support the personal and academic development of students through engaging classroom practice and constructive feedback

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience or a passion for teaching Art and Design & Technology.
  • A commitment to fostering a love for learning and creativity among students.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for developing student’s practical and theoretical skills, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • A proactive and positive attitude toward professional development and continuous learning.
