Geography Teacher

Monarch Education are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Yardley. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging, and challenging lessons in Geography to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Promote the school’s mission to foster educational excellence and character development
• Inspire and motivate students to explore and understand geographical concepts, developing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Encourage students to engage with the community through cultural, sporting, and service-based activities that contribute to their personal and academic growth.
• Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school’s values and promotes a well-rounded education.
• Support students in achieving the highest academic standards, while also fostering their personal development and sense of responsibility to the community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• A strong commitment to the school’s mission of fostering academic excellence, character development, and service to the community.
• Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Dedication to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
