Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: £88.92-£110 Per Day
Monarch Education are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a client school in Gorton (M18). This is a fantastic full-time opportunity starting in January 2026, ideal for someone who thrives in Upper Key Stage 2 and is confident in supporting pupils with a range of needs.
About the Role
You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils in Years 5 and 6, ensuring they are engaged and making progress. A key part of the role will involve leading targeted interventions to boost attainment in core subjects, as well as providing SEND support for pupils with additional needs. Strong behaviour management skills are essential, as you will be working with pupils who may present challenging behaviour. Your ability to build positive relationships and maintain a calm, structured environment will be crucial.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).
- Confidence in leading interventions and supporting pupils with SEND.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
