Job Title: Year 4 Class Teacher – Full-Time
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: January 2026

Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a nurturing and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Birmingham area. This full-time role is to start in January.

The school is seeking a confident and skilled Key stage 2 practitioner-this role is not open to Early Career Teachers you will need to have completed your ECT terms in full.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Key stage 2 framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports emotional and educational development.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to planning and reporting.
• Work collaboratively with support staff, parents/carers, and senior leaders to ensure high-quality provision.
• Support children with varying needs, including speech and language development, early literacy, and social skills.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – not open to ECTs.
• Proven experience teaching in Key stage 2 settings.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and child development.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young learners.
