School Caretaker – Devizes

Location: Devizes, Wiltshire
Pay Rate: £16.49+ per hour

Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a knack for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment? Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join a fantastic school in Devizes. The role is full time.

As a School Caretaker, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of the school. Your responsibilities will include:

• General maintenance and repairs across the school premises
• Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds
• Carrying out routine health and safety checks
• Managing access for contractors and deliveries
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas
• Supporting with setting up for school events

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience in a caretaker or similar role
• Possess strong DIY and maintenance skills
• Be highly organised and able to manage their time effectively
• Have a good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Be trustworthy, dependable, and able to work independently
• Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one
