Class Teacher needed at a Tameside Primary School, Droylsden (M43)

Salary: £162.31-£223.62 Per day
Contract: Full‑time, Fixed Term
Start Date: February 2026

The Role

Monarch Education are seeking a motivated and committed KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Droylsden (M43). This is a full‑time role, suitable for an experienced teacher or ECT, with opportunities for professional development and progression.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS2 class and play a key role in preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and attainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
• Provide effective SATs preparation and intervention support
• Use assessment effectively to track progress and plan next steps
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and senior leaders
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Good understanding of KS2 SATs and assessment frameworks
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• A positive, enthusiastic and reflective approach to teaching
