We are actively appointing an experienced and dedicated Primary Teacher with QTS based in Bristol.

A vibrant and innovative primary school in Bishopsworth are looking for a primary teacher to join their Key Stage One on a part time basis from February 2026. This position will start after the half term and requires a qualified teacher with QTS, ECTs are encouraged to apply. This role is for three days a week as part of a job share, you will be supported by your co-teacher and a full time classroom assistant, as well as your dedicated personal consultant at Monarch Education.

Daily rate of pay starts at £140, and will increase inline with the National Teacher’s Salary pay scales up to MPS6. You will be paid weekly and we offer a choice of payroll methods.

Job responsibilities:

  • Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
  • Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
  • Full time availability
  • Specialism in teaching primary children
