Monarch Education is supporting a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Peterborough seeking a confident and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support professional who is ready to take on additional responsibility, lead learning, and contribute to an inspiring school environment.

About the Role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will lead small groups, cover whole-class teaching when required, work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning activities, and support pupils’ academic and emotional development.

You will also collaborate with support staff, including Trainee Teaching Assistants, helping to model best practice and contribute to a positive, nurturing learning culture throughout the school.

What We’re Looking For:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Confidence leading learning and delivering pre-planned lessons
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Enthusiasm and passion for supporting children to achieve their best
