Monarch Education is partnering with a supportive and inclusive SEND-focused school in Wellingborough to appoint a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with additional needs who is confident leading groups, supervising classes, and creating a positive learning environment.

About the Role:

As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported
  • Work with pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, SEMH needs and physical disabilities
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities confidently
  • Support behaviour management in a calm, consistent and nurturing way
  • Build strong, professional relationships with pupils and staff
  • Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEN
  • Confidence in leading a classroom and delivering prepared materials
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A caring, patient and resilient approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing
