About the Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you’ll:

  • Deliver your specialist subject confidently
  • Teach a range of general subjects when required
  • Follow lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support students’ progress and behaviour throughout the school day
  • Adapt quickly to new classroom settings and routines

Roles with increased responsibility (e.g. long‑term placements, planning & marking) are paid to scale, ensuring you’re fairly rewarded for your expertise.

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability
  • A positive, professional attitude
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
