Supply History Teacher – Secondary School | March 2026 Start
Location: Bath
Contract: Supply / Full‑time (Monday-Friday)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)
Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History teacher looking for a flexible role that supports your work-life balance? We are seeking dedicated Supply History Teachers to work across secondary schools in Bath, with a steady need for cover in Humanities subjects. While History specialists are especially encouraged to apply, we also welcome teachers from related disciplines who can deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across a range of topics.
Supply teaching is an ideal way to explore new environments, develop your practice, and maintain control over your schedule-without the added responsibilities that come with a permanent post. Many supply roles naturally progress into long‑term or permanent positions, giving you both flexibility and future opportunities to grow.
The school provides a warm, ambitious, and high‑performing setting where students are supported to aim high and develop pride in their progress. It fosters a culture where learners feel valued, motivated, and inspired to grow both academically and personally. With strong teaching, excellent pastoral support, and a wide variety of enrichment opportunities, students have every chance to thrive. A focus on aspiration, positive relationships, and student voice ensures that young people feel empowered within a community that celebrates achievement and encourages curiosity about the world.
