Monarch Education is recruiting for a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a Primary School located in Northfield. The position involves working within a designated Resource Base to deliver targeted support to pupils with various needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to pupils with SEND in accordance with their EHCP plans.
  • Assisting with classroom activities and adapting resources to meet individual needs.
  • Implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs to support pupils’ learning, behaviour, and social skills.
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to deliver planned interventions.
  • Supervising pupils during lessons, breaks, and other activities to ensure safety and engagement.
  • Monitoring and recording pupils’ progress and responses to support strategies.
  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of support sessions based on individual EHCP objectives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification recognised by Ofqual.
  • At least 12 weeks’ experience working in a primary school supporting pupils with SEND.
  • Knowledge of EHCPs and the ability to follow support plans effectively.
