Are you an energetic, motivated, and inspiring PE Teacher looking for a long-term role in a supportive Bristol secondary school? We are seeking a committed PE specialist to join a thriving department from April 2026, delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

About the Role

As a PE Teacher, you will deliver a dynamic, varied PE curriculum that encourages participation, skill development, and healthy lifestyles. You’ll lead practical lessons, organise team sports, contribute to extra‑curricular clubs, and support students in achieving their personal best.

This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while being part of a dedicated and forward‑thinking department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
    * Deliver a range of sports including team games, athletics, fitness, and outdoor activities
    * Promote physical health, wellbeing, and positive attitudes towards sport
    * Plan lessons that cater for different abilities and encourage active participation
    * Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
    * Support extra‑curricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities
    * Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well‑managed learning environment
    * Work collaboratively with PE colleagues and wider school staff
    * Uphold behaviour expectations, safeguarding procedures, and professional standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    * Specialism in Physical Education (essential)
    * Confidence delivering practical and theory PE lessons
    * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
    * Enthusiasm for sport, health, and physical development
    * Ability to motivate students and encourage participation
    * Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    * A positive, resilient, and adaptable approach
