Salary: £116.94 – £128.63 per day (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role
As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS3 and KS4 students across a range of subjects. Your main responsibility is to supervise the class, uphold expectations, and ensure students remain on task. No subject expertise is required – strong communication, confidence, and behaviour management skills are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes in the teacher’s absence and keep students engaged in their learning
- Deliver pre-set work while following school policies and classroom routines
- Maintain a calm, orderly, and positive learning environment
- Manage behaviour effectively and reinforce good learning habits
- Offer support and guidance to students who may need additional encouragement
- Build professional, positive relationships with staff and students
- Uphold safeguarding standards and promote the school’s values

- Experience working with young people (school, coaching, mentoring, youth work, etc.)
- Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
- Excellent communication and the ability to lead groups effectively
