Primary Teacher, Filton

We are actively appointing an experienced and dedicated Primary Teacher with QTS based near Filton.

A group of excellent primary schools in Bristol are looking for a qualified primary teacher to join their supply pool on a full time basis from April – July 2026. This position will start in April and requires a qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs very welcome to apply). You will be fully supported by classroom assistants as well as your dedicated personal consultant at Monarch Education, who will coordinate your timetable each week. Work will be pre-planned, so no need to prepare any lessons.

Daily rate starts at £130, pay is weekly and we offer a choice of payroll methods.

As a member of the supply pool you will be placed on Monarch’s Guaranteed Work Scheme, this will allow you to feel secure in your weekly take home salary and give you the opportunity to work in a group of local friendly schools.

Job responsibilities:

• Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
• Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
• Full time availability
• Specialism in teaching primary children
