Are you a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Monarch Education are currently seeking a dedicated TA to join a warm and inclusive client school in Droylsden (M43).

About the Role

This is a full-time position working across the school’s dedicated SEN unit as well as supporting pupils within mainstream classrooms. You will be working closely with children who have a range of complex SEN needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and thrive in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs
  • Work within the school’s SEN unit and mainstream classes
  • Assist in implementing EHCPs and personalised learning plans
  • Use a range of strategies to promote engagement, independence and positive behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO and external professionals
  • Create an inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment

Requirements

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Recent experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary setting
  • Confidence working with pupils with complex needs
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, caring approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
