Monarch Education is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Birmingham. The role involves delivering Maths across KS3 and KS4 and supporting the department with planning, assessment and curriculum delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum
  • Mark and assess work in accordance with school policy
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations
  • Contribute to department planning and curriculum development
  • Maintain consistent behaviour management
  • Work with colleagues to support pupil progress

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3-KS4 Maths curriculum
