Monarch Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a welcoming primary school in Oldham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who has recent experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is looking for a long-term, full-time role.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
  • Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Promoting engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Recent experience supporting pupils within a primary school setting
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • A patient, empathetic and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
