Spanish-Speaking Cover Teacher – Secondary School (NN3 Area)

Duration: Short-term supply until approximately May half term
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay: £180-£210 per day (Inclusive of holiday pay)

A welcoming secondary school in the NN3 area is seeking a Spanish-speaking Cover Teacher to join their team on a short-term supply basis. The role will involve covering Spanish lessons as well as providing general classroom cover across the school as required.

This is a great opportunity for an adaptable and confident cover teacher who can engage secondary-aged students and support continuity of learning during staff absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-planned Spanish lessons and provide general cover where needed
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support pupils’ engagement and learning during cover periods
  • Follow school policies and procedures effectively

Requirements

  • Fluent or confident Spanish speaker
  • Experience working within a secondary school setting (desirable)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
