Nursery Practitioner

Location: Dursley, Gloucestershire
Employer: Monarch Education
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay: £14.25 – £16.96 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Monarch Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in the Dursley area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional who enjoys supporting young children’s development in a nurturing, engaging environment.

The Role:

  • Providing high‑quality care and education to children in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional and developmental needs
  • Planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities
  • Maintaining a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
