Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, are working in close partnership with a two‑form entry Church of England primary school in Coleshill to appoint a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2026.

The school was judged Good by Ofsted and has a thriving early years provision, including a flourishing nursery welcoming children from the age of two. It is part of a supportive diocesan multi‑academy trust, underpinned by strong Christian values and a clear vision to help all children and staff flourish.

You will be supported by a partner teacher, with PPA structured to enable collaborative planning and shared delivery of the school curriculum, while also allowing the autonomy to bring your own ideas, passions and experiences into the classroom. The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS with recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
  • Be an effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising attainment
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and age‑related expectations
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑sequenced lessons that maintain pace, challenge and motivation
  • Be committed to promoting the school’s Christian distinctiveness and values
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and a commitment to achieving excellence in teaching and learning
  • Be willing to engage fully in training and professional development opportunities
