About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them engage with learning and manage their social and emotional needs.
Key responsibilities may include:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis
* Assisting with learning activities and emotional regulation strategies
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
* Helping maintain a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment
* Supporting boarding routines where required
Who We’re Looking For:
* A genuine interest in SEN, SEMH, mental health or education
* Resilient, patient and confident when building relationships
* Ideal for graduates or those considering careers in education, psychology, youth work or social care
* Experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential
* Full training and ongoing support provided
