SEND Teaching Assistant

A primary school in Selly Oak are looking for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to start full time in September 2026.

Monarch Education are working closely with this mainstream primary school to recruit a Teaching Assistant who is able to support a child in EYFS with complex needs. The position will be for the whole academic year.

The ideal candidate will –

  • Hold a level 3 qualification or higher
  • Have experience working in primary schools
  • Experience working within Nursery and/or reception
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN on a one to one basis
  • Passionate about helping children with learning difficulties
  • Be caring and have patience
  • Be reliable
