Monarch Education are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in North Bristol, seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire students through engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons, promoting understanding, respect, and critical thinking.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to explore a range of beliefs, values, and ethical perspectives. The school is looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who can create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Promote positive attitudes towards different cultures, religions, and beliefs
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour
  • Contribute to the wider school community and department development

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching RE at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Religious Education
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities
