Monarch Education is working with a secondary school in Erdington to recruit a Drama Teacher to deliver lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Role Overview
- Plan and deliver Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial)
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
- Contribute to the wider school environment, including enrichment where required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical and theory-based drama lessons
- Support students’ development in performance, creativity, and communication
- Create an inclusive classroom environment
- Work with department staff on curriculum planning
- Maintain accurate records of attainment and progress
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school
- Ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
