An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join a welcoming, community-focused secondary school in Easton. This long-term role, starting in September 2026, is ideal for a teacher who is committed to inspiring creativity and supporting a diverse student body across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role

You will deliver engaging and well-structured Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop practical skills, creativity, and confidence in artistic expression. The role offers the opportunity to adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds, ensuring all students can access and enjoy the curriculum.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Art across KS3 and KS4 (up to GCSE level)
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Support students in developing creative, practical, and observational skills
  • Differentiate effectively to support students with EAL
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and student progress
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design
  • Experience teaching up to GCSE level
  • Experience or confidence working with EAL learners (desirable)
  • Excellent classroom management and adaptability
  • A passion for inclusive education and student success
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality
