An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Yeovil. This long-term role, starting in September 2026, is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and committed to helping students achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role
You will be delivering engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing confidence, problem-solving ability, and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. You’ll be joining an experienced team who share resources, ideas, and best practice to support student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (up to GCSE level)
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
- Support students in developing problem-solving and numerical skills
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement
- Work collaboratively within an experienced team
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience teaching up to GCSE level
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A passion for teaching and student success
- A team-oriented and proactive approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
