Pay: £92.59 – £110.24 per day

About the Role

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Gorton (M18) to recruit a dedicated Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of year groups. The school is looking for a compassionate and adaptable individual who can provide tailored support and contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
• Support pupils across different year groups as required
• Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and differentiated learning
• Implement individual support plans and interventions
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural needs
• Provide personal care where necessary
• Promote a safe, engaging and supportive classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs and other professionals

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Recent experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND
• Willingness to provide personal care
• Ability to work flexibly across different year groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
