Pay: £92.59 – £110.24 per day

About the Role

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne (OL7) to recruit a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September 2026.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced TA with a strong background in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role will involve delivering targeted support and interventions to help pupils progress both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support tailored to individual needs
• Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Adapt learning activities and resources to suit a range of abilities
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
• Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback where required
• Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Proven experience delivering 1:1 and small group SEN support
• Experience delivering targeted interventions
• Strong understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, proactive and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
