We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Selly Oak, South Birmingham from September 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development

- Contribute to the wider life of the school
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement
