Monarch Education are recruiting a Year 2 Teacher for a primary school in Alfreton, DE55, to start immediately on a long term basis until the end of the school year.
This is a great opportunity to join a supportive school environment with strong classroom support already in place.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured lessons to a Year 2 class, ensuring pupils remain supported and continue to make progress through the remainder of the academic year.
The class benefits from multiple Teaching Assistants, providing additional support to help maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Assess and track pupil progress
Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
Work closely with Teaching Assistants to support pupil learning
Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Support pupils academic and personal development
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to work effectively with additional classroom support
Organised and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
