Maths Teacher – Oxford (QTS Required)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher with UK‑recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a welcoming and vibrant secondary school in Oxford.

This full‑time role begins September 2026 and is a long‑term placement. As the newly appointed Maths Teacher, you will receive strong support from the Head of Department and a team of experienced staff. You will teach Mathematics up to GCSE level and participate in collaborative team planning.

Pay Rate

Daily rates start at £145, rising to £232.57 for more experienced teachers with UK‑recognised QTS.

QTS is essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering high‑quality Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive classroom environment and effectively managing behaviour
  • Providing guidance and clear direction to classroom support staff
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to departmental planning

Requirements

  • UK‑recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Full‑time availability
  • Specialism or experience teaching Mathematics in UK secondary schools
