Nursery Practitioner
Location: Cam, Gloucestershire
Salary: £14.25 – £17.00 per hour
Contract: Full-time / Part-time opportunities available
Monarch Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded, welcoming early years setting in Cam. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive team committed to providing high-quality care and education for children.
About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing environment. You will help create engaging and stimulating activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and early learning.
Responsibilities
- Support the daily care and development of children aged 0-5
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
- Monitor and record children’s progress and development
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Assist with personal care routines where required
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
