Monarch Education are working with a primary school in Bournville to recruit a Year 6 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.

About the role:

• Providing 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil
• Supporting learning in the lead up to SATs and end of year assessments
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Adapting tasks to meet individual needs
• Supporting engagement, behaviour and progress
• Helping to maintain a consistent and structured learning environment

What we’re looking for:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – essential
• Experience working as a TA in a primary school
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Understanding of SEN and how to support individual needs
• Calm, patient and reliable approach
