ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT LOOKING FOR A LONG-TERM ROLE?
We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Aston (B6). This is a long-term opportunity, offering stability and the chance to become an integral part of a dedicated SEND provision.
About the Role:
SEND Teaching Assistant – Resource Base
* Monday to Friday – Full time (term time only)
* Based in Aston (B6)
* Long-term position with potential to continue
* Supporting pupils within a specialist SEND resource base
* Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions
* Supporting children with a range of special educational needs
* Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a committed, experienced, and compassionate individual with a strong background in supporting children with SEND.
You must:
* Have recent experience working in a SEND hub or SEND school (within the last 2 years, with references)
* Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs
* Have a patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
* Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
* Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to Aston (B6)
