Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 2

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the heart of Bristol city centre, looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. About the Role
This is a full-time, long-term position supporting pupils within a Key Stage 2 classroom. You will play an important role in both class-wide support and targeted interventions, helping pupils to reach their full potential academically and emotionally.
You may also take on small group work and occasionally lead learning activities, making this an ideal role for someone confident and proactive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across a Key Stage 2 class
- Delivering small group interventions and targeted support
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and classroom management
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
- Promoting a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who:
- Holds a recognised Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS2
- Is confident supporting learning independently and in small groups
- Is adaptable, proactive, and reliable
- Has a strong understanding of supporting pupils with a range of needs
