Monarch Education are recruiting experienced Primary Teachers for supply work across primary schools in Belper from September 2026.

We are working with a number of local schools planning ahead for the new academic year and are looking for reliable teachers who can provide consistent, high quality cover from day one.

About the Role

You will deliver pre planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, ensuring pupils remain engaged and learning continues in the absence of the class teacher.

Opportunities include flexible day to day supply, as well as longer term placements for teachers seeking more stability.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range
Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
Adapt quickly to different school environments
Ensure continuity of learning using pre set plans
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Provide clear handovers to school teams

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status is essential
Recent experience teaching in primary schools
Confident classroom management across different year groups
Reliable, flexible and adaptable approach
Strong communication skills
Ability to quickly integrate into new school settings
