The Role

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
