Inspire Young Minds in Early Years Education with Monarch Education. We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Oldham (OL4) area for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is committed to supporting young children during their crucial early stages of development. The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS learning activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional and educational growth.
- Help prepare and maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe, monitor and record pupil progress in line with EYFS requirements.
- Support children with varying abilities and learning needs.
- Assist with classroom routines, activities and outdoor learning opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Experience working within an EYFS setting, ideally within a primary school.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
