Monarch Education are recruiting Behaviour Support Mentors to work across primary schools in Oldham.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in behaviour support, youth work, sports coaching, care, mentoring or other child-focused settings. You will support pupils who need additional guidance to engage positively in school, helping them develop confidence, emotional regulation and positive learning behaviours.

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Building positive relationships with children who require additional behavioural support
  • Implementing behaviour strategies provided by the school
  • Encouraging engagement in lessons and school activities
  • Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
  • Working closely with teachers, SENDCOs and pastoral teams
  • Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
