What you’ll need

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN or SEND
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils
• Right to work in the UK

Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs or learning difficulties would be advantageous.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who require additional help to access learning and engage fully in the classroom.

You may work on a one-to-one basis, support small intervention groups, or assist the wider class alongside the teacher. Schools are looking for individuals who can provide consistency, encouragement and a supportive presence throughout the school day.

This position would suit candidates with backgrounds in education, childcare, youth work, residential care or support work who are passionate about helping children succeed.
