We are excited to be recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join two welcoming and growing nursery schools located in Erdington and Great Barr, starting from the new academic year.

About the role:

  • Monday to Friday, with flexibility available for the right candidate
  • Working within a nurturing and stimulating EYFS environment across either nursery site
  • Supporting children through play-based learning and meaningful experiences
  • Encouraging children’s communication, language, social and emotional development
  • Working alongside experienced and dedicated early years professionals
  • Opportunity to make a real impact within highly respected nursery settings

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner who genuinely loves working with young children. You’ll be proactive, reliable, and flexible, with a positive attitude and a passion for helping children thrive during their earliest years of education.

You will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare Qualification
  • Have recent experience working within a Nursery or EYFS setting (within the last 2 years, with references)
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
  • Be confident supporting children’s learning and development through play
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support children’s communication, language, and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and the wider nursery team
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Be committed, reliable, and flexible in your approach
  • Ideally be local to the area or able to travel easily
  • Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable but not essential
