SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools around Dudley. The successful candidate will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, assist with personal care needs, and foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering effective lessons.

• Assist with personal care needs of students, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing throughout the day.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work with small groups and individual students, providing additional support where needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
• A relevant qualification in childcare or education (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
