Art Teacher (Graphics & Photography) – Part-Time

Monarch Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful secondary academy in Birmingham for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a part-time position (3 days per week) covering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Graphics and Photography, initially for one term. The school is seeking an enthusiastic practitioner who can inspire students through engaging and innovative lessons, fostering both creativity and technical skills.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Graphics and Photography across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate and challenge learners.
  • Assess, monitor and support student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Art, Graphics and/or Photography at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
