Monarch Education is seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ADHD in a welcoming primary school in Stockwood. The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (ADHD Support), you will:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with ADHD throughout the school day.
- Support learning within the classroom and during wider school activities.
- Help the pupil maintain focus, engagement, and positive participation in lessons.
- Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and behaviour management.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and wider school staff.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and resilience.
- Support the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development.
- Build a positive and trusting relationship that enables the pupil to thrive.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
